Porkin' Ain't Easy Competition Barbeque Team

What a wonderful weekend of friends, great food, and awards.  We fed the National Guard, Police and Fire folks again, and it was great to have all of them as guests.  We had plenty of help with John & Ruth coming in from Minnesota, Doug coming in from Texas, and having the help of neighbors, friends and co-workers at various times all weekend long.  Let us not forget that we never could be successful without the Women folk knocking the Dessert Category out of the park for us almost every year, along with all of the other things that they help us in accomplishing.

This year was much better in scores . . . so without further adeu' . . . below are the scores:

Out of 100-Plus Teams Registered, 91 Teams turned in

Overall Score we came in 8th Place in the Tournament with a score of 1,324.87 (23.9726 out of 1st) 

Rib Category we came in  1st Place (Trophy)  with a score of 176.203 (0 out of 1st ;-)
Chef's Choice we tied for 4th, but got the 5th Place Ribbon with a score of 177.8572 (2.1428 out of 1st)
Dessert Category the girls came in 9th Place (Ribbon) with a score of 175.1002 (4.8998 out of 1st)
Chili Category we came in 10th Place (Ribbon) with a score of 166.6116 (7.5312 out of 1st)
Pork Category we came in 14th Place with a score of 167.3858 (9.92 out of 1st)
Chicken Category we came in 41st Place with a score of 159.8546 (18.0026 out of 1st)
Pork Steak Category we came in 59th Place with a score of 153.8572 (21.3058 out of 1st)
Brisket Category we came in 67th Place with a score of 148.0 (29.8572 out of 1st)
